Coastal Hiking Quirilluca Cliffs Maitencillo

The Quirilluca Cliffs are home to some of the most representative species of the Valparaíso Region, such as the sea otter and the Belloto del Norte. The uniqueness of its flora and fauna, combined with the landmarks found here, make this area a priority site for preservation and conservation. The nesting of the common booby on these cliffs is the only one in the entire central zone of continental Chile, and from the same cliffs you can also observe the presence of the sea otter (Chungungo). The relict forest of the Quirilluca Ravine brings together the most coastal population of Bellotos del Norte, a century-old tree that lends the landscape a memory of other times.
